The C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles www.junginla.org is a non-profit (501-C3) organization dedicated to the study and dissemination of the views of C.G. Jung. His works focus on psychological insight, development of consciousness, and growth. To accomplish this, the Institute offers programs to train future Jungian analysts and psychotherapists while promoting research and publications. The Institute is also committed to community outreach through its many on-going programs which include extenisve public programs; adult and child clinics; a bookstore and library; the journal, Psychological Perspectives; the Remembering Jung Video Series; and the Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism.
The Institute is located on Pico Boulevard across from the Rancho Park Golf Course, near Beverly Glen. It also has a sliding scale clinic. Many of those involved with the work of Coldwater Counseling Center are also active participants at the Institute.
Wellness Works (Glendale) www.wellnessworksglendale.org is a not for profit holistic health and education center where professionally licensed therapists and educators invite the community to participate in classes, workshops, sliding scale clinics, private sessions and special events. The clinic offers alternative therapies on a donation basis to people who are challenged financially or physically. No one is turned away for lack of funds. The clinic practitioners, who are all volunteers, offer a variety of types of treatments and styles including acupressure, acupuncture, energy balancing, massage, body talk, shiatsu, reflexology and yoga.
